Q: Why did you develop the O44 METHOD?
Carrie: I developed the O44 METHOD to create an extremely effective and efficient Whole Health Workout. The program combines Strength and Cardio while concluding with Stretch Mindfulness, allowing you to achieve optimal results for both body and mind in every session.
Q: Why are you particularly motivated to create workouts for women over 40?
Carrie: The METHOD is definitely designed for women of all ages and ability levels. I just personally noticed after having 3 kids and turning 40, I needed something different for my body and mind from what I had been doing. I needed more cardio and a larger range of motion integrated into my workout for heart health and weight maintenance and didn’t have time to do a strength workout plus another cardio workout daily. I also needed to work with heavier resistance to combat declining muscle mass and bone density that occurs as we age. And I needed a few minutes to breathe and practice my meditation, exercise my gratitude muscle!
Q: What’s your background with fitness and health?
Carrie: Extensive! I started in the industry in 1992, and since then have gone on to create Pure Barre and O44 METHOD.
Q: Why do you think the Conscious Cleanse and O44 METHOD work well together?
Carrie: I believe exercise and healthy eating are two parts to a whole. We really need to be working on both for optimal health.
Q: How does nutrition play a role in your life?
Carrie: Nutrition is as important in my life, as well as my family’s life, as exercise.
